A painted wooden mantle surround in classic white highlighted with jet black marble create an elegant focal point in this formal living room space. The influence here is Late Georgian with a clear indication of Adam style in the delicate floral swag motif. A nice contrast is the deep stain of the mahogany flooring. The custom bookshelves were added to complete the wall and give extra space for display.

In the casual setting of this room, Fireplace Concepts creates a classically styled Arts & Crafts influence fireplace and mantle. The movement of Arts and Crafts at the turn of the century, (1860-1925) was a quest for traditional values of hearth and home. In this room, those values have been successfully captured. Simple yet tasteful furnishings, such as the mission style cabinet and leather sofa are perfect companions to this focal point of the room, the fireplace. Note also the playful tile treatment on this piece, typical of the era, and the exact stain match of mantle and furniture.

A beautiful Federal style painted mantle piece in classic white. Important details of the period, (1780-1850), such as the neo classic columns and hand carved paterae, are typical of a South Carolina plantation house. The detail of this fireplace is nicely accented by furnishings and accessories of the same period.
