01 / About us and our history

Fireplace Concepts was established in 1993 and has evolved into a full service company catering to all aspects of fireplace design and construction. Over the years the company has refined itself to take on the most complicated projects that other outfits are unable or unwilling to undertake.  

With our own millwork shop, we can design and create any level of cabinetry, from fireplace mantels to complex built-in wall units.  Our team of craftsmen are masters in stonework, carpentry, and millwork  allowing us to offer a true full-service experience to any customer looking for an inside or outside fireplace.  We also offer made to order fireplace screens in mesh and tempered glass. Our custom cabinetry capabilities extends to unique furniture design and production to complete your space.

We have a team of craftsmen that are experts in their feilds.

It should be stressed that we strongly believe in hiring employees and not relying on subtrades. We have on staff, our own masons, cabinet makers, carpenters and gas fitters. This team works together to provide a seamless process of construction from start to finish. Subtrades have their own schedules to work to and thus the client’s house is in a construction state longer. Having employees also provides a more timely response should any follow up be required.
